Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Technology Lead to drive AI-powered data and digital initiatives across Investment Banking and Institutional Client Group. You will bridge business needs and technical delivery, lead architecture, and mentor teams while applying AI, ML, and DevOps to scalable, cost-efficient solutions.

Strong leadership and hands-on skills in Python/Java/React, plus experience with SDLC, are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in technology leadership, Python development, project/program management, and delivery management
• Understanding of AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation technologies with ability to identify practical use cases in financial services
• Strong technical background across SDLC functions with hands-on experience in modern technologies (Python, Java, React, Angular, Postgres, MongoDB, Oracle)
• Expertise in DevOps practices, knowledge of Robotic Process Automation, and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to articulate AI value propositions to both technical and business audiences

• Evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions including Robotic Process Automation, intelligent data processing, and predictive analytics to drive operational efficiency
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery including scoping, estimation, planning, resource administration, and quality management for both traditional and AI-enabled initiatives
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring key metrics, SLAs, and streamlining processes using AI-powered analytics to achieve business goals at reduced costs
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and translate requirements into intelligent technical solutions
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder management to meet objectives in terms of cost, timelines, and quality
