Technology Lead – Data & Digital

Join our dynamic Data & Digital team as a Technology Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and operational excellence. This is an established team that works at the intersection of business and technology, delivering strategic initiatives across Investment Banking and Institutional Client Group functions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, business stakeholders, and global technology partners to deliver cutting‑edge solutions that enable business growth. Job Responsibilities

As a GEN AI Python Developer you'll bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring optimal delivery of data and digital initiatives enhanced by AI capabilities. You'll work with global and regional colleagues across multiple time zones to drive innovation and excellence. Lead the design and architecture of applications aligned with organizational goals, incorporating AI and machine learning capabilities where appropriate to enhance scalability, performance, and intelligent automation. Evaluate and implement AI‑driven solutions including Robotic Process Automation, intelligent data processing, and predictive analytics to drive operational efficiency. Manage end‑to‑end project delivery including scoping, estimation, planning, resource administration, and quality management for both traditional and AI‑enabled initiatives. Drive operational excellence by monitoring key metrics, SLAs, and streamlining processes using AI‑powered analytics to achieve business goals at reduced costs. Collaborate with business users and IT teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and translate requirements into intelligent technical solutions. Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder management to meet objectives in terms of cost, timelines, and quality. Lead and mentor technical teams on emerging AI technologies, fostering effective coordination and communication aligned with organizational vision.

Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced technology leader with a strong track record in delivering complex projects, driving operational excellence, and understanding of AI technologies and their practical applications. 6 to 10 years of experience in technology leadership, Python development, project/program management, and delivery management. Understanding of AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation technologies with ability to identify practical use cases in financial services. Strong technical background across SDLC functions with hands‑on experience in modern technologies (Python, Java, , React, Angular, Postgres, MongoDB, Oracle). Expertise in DevOps practices, knowledge of Robotic Process Automation, and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to articulate AI value propositions to both technical and business audiences.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree in computer science, Computer Management, Data Science, or related field preferred.

Nice to Have / Additional Requirements

Prince 2 certification and/or Certified Product Owner (Scrum Alliance) qualification. Proven experience in Investment Banking or Financial Services domain, particularly Institutional Client Group. Demonstrated ability to manage fixed price, time & material, and transactional projects with strong commercial acumen.

Salary
