Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize intelligent systems powering automation, personalization, and decision-making across our FinTech platforms. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.

The role demands 4+ years in AI/ML, strong Python skills, experience with Generative AI models, NLP, and cloud-native MLOps in Google Cloud Platform, LangChain, and modern

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with ML/DL algorithms and systems.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Transformers.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI models and agentic AI systems.
• Experience with NLP and LLM-based applications.
• Familiarity with vector search and semantic retrieval technologies.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, including deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Experience building production-grade AI systems at scale in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML, DL, and Generative AI models that solve complex business problems.
• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into AI-powered solutions.
• Implement and optimize AI solutions using platforms and tools mentioned above.
• Develop autonomous AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and AgentSpace.
• Ensure robust MLOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
