Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Generative AI Engineer for an Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role requires a candidate with high expertise in building stateful, multi-actor applications with Large Language Models (LLMs) using modern Generative AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in connecting AI models to data sources, designing effective prompts, and developing backend services in both Python and Java within a CI/CD environment.

Requirements

• High expertise and hands-on knowledge in the following technical areas:
• LangGraph: Building stateful, multi-actor applications with LLMs
• MCP (Model Context Protocol): Seamlessly connecting AI models to data sources and tools
• GenAI Tools: Utilizing modern Generative AI frameworks and ecosystem tools
• Prompt Engineering: Designing and optimizing effective prompts for generative models
• Python: Advanced software engineering and AI script development
• Java: Core enterprise application development and backend services
• CI/CD: Continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment pipelines

Pay range: $63.92 - $71.92 per hour
