Job summary

Acxiom is seeking an Expert Data Scientist (Adobe Practice) to lead hands-on ML and Big Data initiatives within the Adobe Marketing Cloud and third-party tools. You will build scalable data products, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply Generative AI to drive insights and AI-powered solutions.

The role emphasizes modeling, data preparation, model evaluation, and production deployment, with leadership in Generative AI and cross-team collaboration across data science and product groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Math) or related degree programs with 6+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree with relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing machine learning models in a business environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R.
• Experience with APIs and integrating them into data solutions.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong SQL skills for database management and data manipulation.
• Strong problem-solving and creative data thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor junior data scientists and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Apply state-of-the-art algorithms to develop data products or improve existing products.
• Specialize in building data pipelines and developing machine learning models.
• Build, evaluate and optimize models using ML, AI, and Generative AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals, KPIs, and diagnostics.
• Define project requirements including data sources and algorithms.
• Develop knowledge of data sources for audience segmentation solutions.
• Work with Product and Engineering to transition projects to production.
• Prepare and present analytical findings to marketing and business audiences.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to data scientists.
