Scope of the Role

We are seeking a Generative AI Specialist to join our Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Demand program. This is a part‑time, remote, flexible, project‑specific opportunity designed for writers, linguists, educators, researchers, or others passionate about language and logic. Your work will help LLMs learn the intricacies of language and reasoning.

What You’ll Own

• Rate/assess AI model performance based on evaluative questions.
• Label elements of content rather than the content as a whole, assigning predefined categories or labels.
• Evaluate perceived quality and/or appropriateness of content.
• Generate labels to deepen understanding of concepts or trends.
• Create additional training data by transforming the original data (e.g., image rotation, paraphrasing text, audio pitch shifting) to improve dataset diversity.
• Review data to confirm product features work as intended per project guidelines.
• Label model outputs to identify content type, such as clickbait, gaming videos, or branded content.
• Order or rank items based on preferences or criteria.
• Create prompts or questions used to generate responses from language models or other AI systems.
• Evaluate content relevance on a relevancy scale (e.g., 1–3, 1–5).
• Generate responses to prompts using a language model or other AI system.
• Rewrite existing text to improve clarity or style while preserving meaning.
• Produce concise summaries of longer pieces of text or data.
• Transcribe spoken language or audio content into written text.
• Translate text or spoken language between languages.
• Gather and compile data (text, images, videos, audio) for training, evaluating, or fine‑tuning AI models.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have

• Expected hourly salary range $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
