Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Generative AI Architect to lead architecture design and development of Generative AI solutions across multiple business domains at our Westerville HQ. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business teams to translate needs into scalable AI architectures and platforms, and you will lead project execution and delivery onsite.

The role requires deep experience with Generative AI models, RAG and transformer architectures, and cloud deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science.
• Experience in Generative AI architectures and frameworks (retrieval augmented generation, vectorization, embeddings).
• Experience with multiple Large Language Models (Azure OpenAI GPT-3.5/4.0, Meta Llama2 or Llama3, Google Palm2).
• Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills; able to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements and architecture for Generative AI solutions across domains.
• Architect Generative AI solutions using RAG, transformers, and related techniques.
• Develop applications using state-of-the-art Generative AI models (GPT-3.5/4, Claude, Palm2, Llama).
• Apply frameworks like LangChain and Llama Index for efficient retrieval and chaining of LLMs.
• Oversee fine-tuning and deployment of Large Language Models with best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and stay current with Generative AI trends.
