North Shore Health is seeking a full-time Lab Tech (MLT or MLS) in Grand Marais, Minnesota. This generalist role involves testing in multiple laboratory areas including Hematology, Chemistry, and Microbiology. Candidates should have an Associate’s Degree and be eligible for ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Technician. Qualifications

• Successfully complete Student Practicum/Internship required for Associate’s Degree Program.
• Eligible for ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) within 6 months of hire.
• Two years experience as a Laboratory Generalist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Testing in all laboratory areas: Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Transfusion Medicine.
• Phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Clerical and technical support tasks.
