General Summary

This position utilizes knowledge of a variety of production duties, handling product, visual sorting or inspection, packing or performing other operations that can be learned on-the-job in a short time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs related work and other job assignments as required.
• Must be able to work in Multi-temperature environments.
• Work requires frequent moving on highly repetitive short-cycle production line.
• Frequent exertion of moderate to heavy physical effort.
• Work is typically performed while standing and may include walking some of the time.
• Must understand and follow all of the QA standards set forth by the customer.
• Performs related work and other job assignments as required or requested by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ability to follow demonstrated directions.
• Incumbents may use pallet jacks to move material in the work area.
• Keeps work area clean and performs housekeeping duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs. The position requires standing & walking for extended periods of time .
• Work in cold and extremely cold environments for extended periods (freezer and cold storage facilities).
