Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a General Warehouse Person to perform tasks involved in processing and shipping orders to the stores that service our customers.

You will receive, scan, pick, pack, audit and ship merchandise, all while maintaining a clean and safe distribution center and utilizing RF scanning to track inventory. The role requires flexibility, the ability to stand for long periods, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds; prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsibilities may include but not limited to: receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping merchandise to the stores that service our customers. This may require at times to work in areas higher than ground level.
• Tracks all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory.
• Verifies orders and ensures entry into the inventory management system.
• Operates a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the distribution center are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris.
• Maintains quality standards set forth by distribution center management.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.

The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled.

Salary Range: $18.96 - $22.82 / Hourly
