Job summary

Velvac Inc in New Berlin is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate to join our fast-growing team. The role focuses on accurate picking, packing, and shipping in a clean, safe environment using voice-to-pick technology and motorized carts.

You will start by getting acquainted with the New Berlin warehouse and Velvac products, then learn how we fulfill next-day shipments for our customers. Forklift training is provided to build your skills and contribute to the team's success.

Qualifications

• Highschool or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Strong safety record and reliable attendance.
• Active, on-the-move person for light-to-medium duty work.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship in a clean warehouse using voice-to-pick technology.

We have immediate openings for Warehouse Associates for our schedule‑friendly first shift. Not a crazy complicated schedule that stresses all your other schedules. Not too early. Not too late. One shift. Just right.

• You will pick, pack, and ship in our clean and efficient warehouse using voice‑to‑pick technology and back‑saving motorized carts.
• You will get started by familiarizing self with the New Berlin Warehouse and Velvac products.
• Then you will learn how we how we fulfill our promise of the next day shipment of all customers’ orders.
• If you don’t already have forklift experience; we will train you which will add to advance your skills and experience and contribution to success.

Requirements

Our Warehouse Requirements:

We can teach warehouse work. You just need to bring a great attitude and great attendance. You should also bring:

• Highschool or GED Degree
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful and preferred.
• Willingness to learn forklift, or to recertify if you need be. We provide the training, and you bring your enthusiasm for learning.
• A great safety record with demonstrated commitment to being safe.
• Enjoy an active, on the move job. Let's call it light to medium duty work.
