Job Summary

Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift operation, fabrication, counter work, or may have a generalized role working across all departments.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Complete tasks like loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas or vehicles, and stack or pile materials such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Verify computations against physical stock counts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety policies, and promote safety among colleagues.
• Receive and fulfill orders, and sell supplies or materials to installers and subcontractors.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, or drive trucks for stock pickup or delivery, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

• Selects processes based on clear rules, past practices, or instructions; seeks guidance on non-routine issues.
• Works under close supervision with limited independent judgment, with detailed checks or reviews by a supervisor or senior coworker.
• None.

Work Environment

• Typically in a comfortable setting but with exposure to factors like temperature extremes, machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
• Overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

• HS Diploma or GED preferred. 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$17.50 - $20.15 hourly
