Description

We're looking for a General Warehouse Associate - Cleaning Specialist, working in the Manufacturing industry in Dallas, 75212.

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented General Warehouse Associate with a focus on cleaning to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace for our team. Our current openings are on 1st shift from 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday with opportunities for additional overtime.

We offer medical benefits. Salary is up to $13 per hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Cleaning:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary and orderly warehouse environment.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors in designated areas, including storage and processing zones.

Surface and Equipment Cleaning:

• Clean and disinfect surfaces, workstations, and machinery regularly.
• Ensure that equipment and tools are kept clean and in good working condition.

Waste Management:

• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclable materials following established protocols.
• Monitor and manage waste collection areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance.

Spill Response:

• Respond promptly to spills and accidents, ensuring proper cleaning and reporting procedures are followed.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning agents and chemicals.

Collaboration with Team:

• Coordinate with warehouse team members to address specific cleaning needs.
• Assist in organizing and participating in periodic warehouse cleaning initiatives.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.
