Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in multiple departments within a distribution center.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to understand written material.

Job Summary:

Works across various departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. Operates material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks.
• Verify incoming products for quantity and quality.
• Collect items for customer orders using packing lists, build and wrap pallets.
• Inspect stock for wear and defects, notify management of issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform inventory control functions as needed.

Work Environment:

• Typically in a comfortable environment but with exposure to factors like temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
• No travel required.

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED preferred; specialized training may be required. 2-5 years of relevant experience.
