Responsibilities

1. Work in multiple departments within a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment.
2. Operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.
3. Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas.
4. Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
5. Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
6. Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets of products.
7. Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects; notify management of inventory issues.
8. Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
9. Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with safety policies.
10. Perform inventory control functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in multiple departments in a distribution center.
• Ability to understand written material.
• Preferred: experience operating material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; 2-5 years of experience in related area.

Work Environment

• Typically in a comfortable environment but with exposure to factors like temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
• No travel required.
