Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a dependable General Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, staging inventory, preparing shipments, and general warehouse labor. This is a hands-on position with a long-term temporary assignment and ASAP start.

Shift options include Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, with compensation of $19.00–$24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or general labor experience required.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding/logistics/distribution warehouse preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight, shipments, pallets, and other materials.
• Move, stage, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, sorting, and storing incoming freight.
• Prepare outbound shipments and ensure freight is properly handled and secured.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, as applicable.
• Assist with picking, packing, labeling, and shipping activities.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
• Assist warehouse team members with general labor and other operational tasks as needed.
• Accurately handle freight and materials to minimize damage and ensure proper shipment.
• Support other warehouse and logistics activities based on business needs.
