Job summary

Specialty Resources Inc. seeks a General Warehouse Associate to perform packaging, loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting parts in a fast-paced warehouse. The role includes opportunities to become certified and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

The candidate will read pick tickets and inventory labels and work in a 100% warehouse environment, with lifting up to 50 lbs and varied physical demands. This position is on-site in Delaware County.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read pick tickets and inventory labels.
• Must be able to operate or be trained to operate material handling equipment.
• Standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pack parts individually or in bulk using various materials.
• Sort parts, light assemblies, and kit packaging.
• Stack cartons and bins on pallets.
• Wrap, strap and band pallets.
• Assist with basic warehouse housekeeping.
• Read and understand pick tickets, packing slips, and inventory labels.

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for a wide range of tasks including packaging, loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products. Individuals in this position must have the ability to become certified and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Individually and/or bulk pack parts ranging in size from ¼” to 5’ utilizing varied packaging materials
• Sorting parts, light assemblies and kit packaging
• Stack cartons/bins on pallets
• Wrap, strap and/or band pallets
• Basic warehouse housekeeping (trash, sweeping, dusting)
• Be able to read and understand pick tickets, packing slips and inventory labels

Physical Demands

• 100% Warehouse hot/cold environment
• Standing, stooping, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting up to 50lbs.
• Fast paced environment
