Family Dollar in Indiana is seeking a warehouse team member for the 3rd shift (8:00pm - 6:30am Mon-Thur). The role involves maintaining workflow, handling damaged materials, labeling, and palletizing. You will perform PIT operations and ensure safety procedures are followed in a non-climate-controlled distribution environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (preferred) and 4–6 months of distribution center experience. Ability to lift heavy boxes and work overtime is required.

Competenze

• Education: High School diploma preferred.
• Experience: Four to six months in Retail Distribution Center or Warehouse preferred.
• Physical: Able to lift up to 50 lb repetitively and up to 80 lb occasionally; PPE may be required.

Position Requirements

Education: High School diploma (preferred)

Experience: Four to six months Retail Distribution Center or Warehouse Environment experience preferred.

Physical Requirements: Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. These tasks require the ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 80 pounds. The Team Member should have adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing of stairs, occasional sitting, stooping and kneeling with or without reasonable accommodation. May be required to operate P.I.T. equipment. Team Member will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.

Working Conditions: Team Member will work in a non-climate-controlled Distribution or Warehouse atmosphere, in which outside weather conditions greatly affect the building’s temperature although fans and heaters are used. Team Member may also be exposed to or work in a restricted space, fumes and airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.

Availability: Team Member will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
