Job Description

The General Utility Worker I serves a variety of essential back of the house and front of house Food & Beverage (F&B) roles. The F&B General Utility Worker II is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment and gaining extensive knowledge of proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
2. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including pot/dish wash and deep cleaning duties.
3. Attend in-house training sessions.
4. Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform according to company regulations.
5. Comply with and promote the company's health and safety policies.
6. Ensure all food hygiene regulations are followed, including checking in food deliveries and accepting only high-quality produce.
7. Ensure proper food storage in compliance with hygiene regulations and follow stock rotation procedures.
8. Perform cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment or furniture.
9. Prepare service areas and points.
10. Store food items and equipment accurately after service.
