Job Description

The General Utility Worker I serves a variety of essential back of the house and front of house Food & Beverage (F&B) roles. The F&B General Utility Worker II is required to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and to gain extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
  2. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including pot/dish wash and deep cleaning duties.
  3. Attend in-house training sessions.
  4. Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform according to company regulations.
  5. Comply with and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety policies.
  6. Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, including checking in food deliveries to ensure only high-quality produce is accepted.
  7. Ensure food storage complies with hygiene regulations and that stock rotation systems are followed.
  8. Perform cleaning duties related to service and equipment/furniture.
  9. Prepare service areas and/or service points.
  10. Store food items and equipment accurately after service.
