Job Description

The General Utility Worker I serves a variety of essential back of the house and front of the house Food & Beverage (F&B) roles. The F&B General Utility Worker II is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment and gaining extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and record food and equipment temperature
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including pot/dish wash and deep cleaning duties
• Attend in-house training sessions
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform in accordance with company regulations
• Comply with and promote the company's health and safety policies
• Ensure all food hygiene regulations are followed, including checking in food deliveries to ensure high standards of produce
• Ensure food storage complies with hygiene regulations and stock rotation is followed
• Perform cleaning duties related to service and equipment
• Prepare the service area and service points
• Store food items and equipment accurately after service

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
