Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. is seeking a General Utility worker in Decatur, IL. The role focuses on inspecting and packing glass containers, preparing materials, and transporting items across production lines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds as needed.
• Must work well with others in a teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Support packing line operations by preparing containers with required materials and equipment.
• Transport containers to and from production lines and storage areas using material handling equipment.
• Perform container closing and rework activities to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Transfer glass between containers while maintaining product quality and traceability.
• Operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles to support production, packaging, inventory and shipping operations.
• Load and unload containers on launching devices and conveyors; assist with packaging operations.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in assigned areas.
• Identify, report and assist with containment of nonconforming product and process abnormalities.
