Job summary

Workstream in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking an entry-level kitchen helper to maintain clean work areas, assist in food preparation, and support dishwashing operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, sorting and sanitizing surfaces, handling waste, and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards in indoor and outdoor settings; flexibility for hot, damp environments and standing for long periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.
• Good personal hygiene required.
• Works both indoors and outdoors.
• Works frequently in a hot damp environment.
• Must possess and/or obtain a valid Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

5. Washes work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment and floors.

6. Cleans garbage cans and trash receptacles.

7. Assembles, maintains and breaks down dish machine
