Job summary

University of Minnesota Physicians Department of Urology seeks a full-time board-certified/eligible Urologist to join our East Metro practice, with the possibility of Assistant or Associate Professor rank or a Physician without a University appointment.

The position emphasizes clinical care, research, and teaching, supported by a strong faculty, with outpatient and hospital duties and opportunities for collaboration across M Health Fairview and the VA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Urology residency and/or fellowship-training program.
• Board eligible or certified in Urology.
• Licensed to practice in Minnesota, with DEA, and able to obtain licensure.
• Ability to receive work authorization in the United States (visa considerations).

Responsibilities

• Duties will support and advance the clinical and academic mission of the Department of Urology and the University of Minnesota Medical School.
• Instruct, conduct clinical research, and provide patient care with emphasis on General urology.
• Practice sites primarily at a suburban hospital with one day of outreach possible.
• Collaborate within and across local healthcare systems, including M Health Fairview and Minneapolis VA.
