Job summary

OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is seeking a full-time surgeon to balance 0.5 FTE general surgery with 0.5 FTE trauma/critical care in a busy level III-N trauma center. You will join eight other surgeons and participate in a 1:4 weekend call rotation with 2–3 night calls monthly and a rapid 15-minute response.

Bread-and-butter cases include general surgery, endoscopy, trauma and foregut work, supported by 24/7 inpatient APPs and a Trauma Resource Nurse, plus generous signing, relocation, and

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in general surgery or critical care.
• Trauma/critical care fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bread and butter general surgery, endoscopy, trauma, and foregut cases.
• Call rotation 1:4 weekends and 2–3 night calls per month with 15-minute response time.
• 24/7 inpatient APP support and dedicated Trauma Resource Nurse.
• Approximately 1,200 trauma admissions per year.
• Join a well-established group of surgeons at a level III-N trauma center.

Education

Board Certification / Board Eligible in General Surgery or Critical Care

Tra trauma/critical care fellowship preferred
