Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Marlborough, MA, seeks a General Surgical Pathologist with AP or AP/CP board certification to support volume growth at our lab. Proficiency in cytopathology, particularly GYN cytology, and surgical pathology is required. Outpatient biopsies from GYN, GI, GU, ENT/Head & Neck are routine.

Digital pathology interest encouraged; MA license and any additional state licenses are needed. Three+ years experience preferred; strong work ethic and communication skills.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required for board-certified surgical pathology roles.
• Board certification in AP or AP/CP is required.
• Proficiency in Cytopathology and GYN cytology is essential.
• State medical license in MA and additional state licenses where applicable.
• Experienced pathologist; fellows with sign-out experience considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical pathology and GYN cytopathology with cytology workflow.
• Handle outpatient biopsies from GYN, GI, GU, ENT/Head & Neck settings.
• Interest or experience in Digital pathology encouraged; potential CLIA directorships.
• Fulfill AP responsibilities and MA licensing requirements in the region.

Pay Range: $300,000 - $350,000 / year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Marlborough, MA - Quest Diagnostics has an opening for a full-time pathologist with AP or AP/CP board certification to accommodate volume growth at our lab. Candidate must have proficiency in cytopathology, particularly GYN cytology, in addition to surgical pathology. Our practice includes outpatient biopsies from various settings including GYN, GI, GU, ENT/Head & Neck. Pathologists with interest or experience with Digital pathology are encouraged to apply. Opportunity exists (for CP boarded applicants) for CLIA directorships of smaller satellite labs in the region in addition to their AP responsibilities. Licensure in MA and additional states is required. Successful candidates should bring three years or more of experience, strong work ethic, commitment to quality and good communication skills.
