Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Physician Operations or designee, the physician provides comprehensive services to assess, diagnose, plan, and treat a wide range of patients with health issues, illnesses, or injuries within NCH facilities or NCH Medical Group locations. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide coordinated patient care, resulting in high-quality, timely, and customer-focused healthcare that optimizes patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine with current license to practice medicine in Illinois
  • Board certified
  • Active DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License
  • Current CPR certification or specialty-specific advanced life support (ACLS, ATLS, PALS) certification obtained through the American Heart Association
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, medical personnel, and team members in a compassionate and customer-oriented manner
  • Current knowledge of evidence-based standards of medical care for the specialty area
  • Ability to perform effectively under stressful emergency situations
  • Ability to prioritize patient care to support efficient patient flow within NCH facilities or Medical Group offices
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule and assist in covering vacancies when necessary
Compensation

Guaranteed salary from $322,645 to $585,998, depending on expertise and experience.
