Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a full-time General Surgeon in Houston, TX to deliver bedside wound care with a leading wound care group. You will work 7am-4pm (Mon-Fri) or part-time options, with no nights or on-call duties, delivering modern wound management at the bedside across SNFs and LTACHs.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Wound care training or fellowship is preferred.
• Commitment of at least 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (SNF, LTACH).
• Deliver wound management rounds weekly at each facility.
• Travel within a 40–60 mile radius visiting 2–3 facilities daily.
• Treat approximately 20–30 patients per day during rounds.
• Document care in real-time using our wound-focused EMR.

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
