Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a full-time General Surgeon in Houston, TX to join a national wound physician group. You will provide bedside wound care across facilities, enjoying autonomy and a strong focus on work–life balance.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 7am–4pm with no nights or weekend calls. This mobile practice covers a 40–60 mile radius, treating 20–30 patients daily. Paid training includes a 6-month wound care fellowship and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver bedside wound care at the bedside in post-acute care settings.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities.
• Mobile practice visiting 40–60 mile radius of practice location.
• Treat 20–30 patients per day with real-time EMR documentation.

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
