Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support in Utah. Coverage includes 24-hour call (7a–7a) with ER and inpatient responsibilities and general surgery cases. Board certification or eligibility is required, along with active Utah license and DEA.

Malpractice insurance arrangements and travel/lodging support are provided by AMN Healthcare for contractor providers.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active Utah medical license and DEA required.
• Experience in general surgery with ER and inpatient coverage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a).
• Deliver general surgery coverage in ER and inpatient settings.
• Perform general surgery cases as part of on-call duties.
