Ascension is seeking a Physician Assistant for General Surgery in Milwaukee, WI. This 1.0 FTE role supports a 36 patient contact hour schedule using the EPIC EMR system at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital / Prospect Medical Commons.

The candidate should be a graduate of an accredited PA program; master's degree is preferred. One year of experience is preferred, with licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment; orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
• Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
• Counsels patients and families on preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
