Job summary

Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our busy General Surgery team. You will perform outpatient clinic visits, participate in inpatient rounds, and assist in ORs across our campus.

Our nine surgeons, six PAs, and experienced staff provide a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates include a Master’s in PA studies, 2–4 years surgical experience preferred but new grads welcome, WA license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physician assistant studies.
• 2–4 years of surgical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain one before start.
• BLS certification before starting or within first week.

Responsibilities

• See patients in outpatient clinic.
• Inpatient rounding.
• Assist in inpatient and outpatient Operating Rooms.
• Clinic, hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center on same campus.
