St. Elizabeth HealthCare is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to provide clinical support in General Surgery in Lawrenceburg. The MA will escort patients, collect vital signs, document histories, and assist providers during exams.

The role emphasizes patient communication, accurate charting, and adherence to OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA regulations, with no night, weekend, or holiday shifts and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Preferred credentials (CCMA, CMA, RMA, ARMA or EMT)

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs.
• Document patient history and coordinate information in charts.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Collect specimens and perform basic lab tasks as directed.
• Prepare and administer medications per provider's orders.
• Maintain supplies and sanitize exam rooms and equipment.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA and CLIA compliance in daily workflow.
