Job summary

Emory Hospital Warner Robins is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon to join our established surgical team. The physician will provide comprehensive surgical care, participate in on-call duties, and engage in meetings and committees while upholding national patient safety goals.

Minimum qualifications include an MD or DO, Georgia medical license, DEA certificate, and board eligibility/certification in General Surgery.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in General Surgery.
• Current DEA certificate without restriction.
• Outpatient and inpatient experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive General Surgery care for patients within scope of license and training.
• Attend to on-call duties and participate in meetings and committees.
• Practice medicine in alignment with national patient safety goals and Emory Healthcare standards.
