Job summary

Emory Hospital Warner Robins, part of Emory Healthcare, seeks a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon to join an established surgical group. The physician will provide patient care within licensing, training and credentialing scope, participate in on-call duties, and contribute to meetings and committees while advancing patient safety goals.

Requirements include MD or DO, valid Georgia license, DEA certificate, and ideally experience in outpatient and inpatient practice; strong

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Valid Georgia medical license or ability to obtain.
• Board eligible or board certified in General Surgery.
• DEA certificate without restrictions.
• Outpatient and inpatient practice experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Attend to patient needs within licensing and credentialing.
• Provide direct patient care as General Surgeon.
• Participate in on-call duties.
• Attend meetings and committees.
• Support national patient safety goals.
