Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Strong laparoscopic surgical skills required.
• Robotic surgery experience and program development interest preferred.
• Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and mentorship.
• MD or DO degree and eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient general surgery services.
• Perform a broad range of open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists across UMass Memorial Health.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
