Job summary

Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, is seeking a General Surgeon to join an established surgical practice supported by Tenet Health. The position offers an employed opportunity with a strong, growing patient base.

Enjoy a balanced 50/50 mix of inpatient and outpatient care with a typical Monday–Friday schedule, clinic support, and access to an ASC on campus. Opportunities for teaching residents may be available as part of a physician-led team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training preferred.
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Desert Regional Medical Center.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to high‑quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and collaborative team‑based practice skills.

Responsibilities

• Employed opportunity with Tenet Physician Resources and First Choice Physician Partners at Desert Regional Medical Center.
• Join a well‑established surgical team alongside experienced general surgeons.
• Practice on the Desert Regional Medical Center campus with access to hospital resources and ASC.
• Maintain a balanced 50/50 split between inpatient and outpatient care.
• Call coverage for your own established patient panel; clinic support provided.
