Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician for a NH assignment focused on call coverage in a smaller hospital setting. The role requires colonoscopy, EGD, and sigmoidoscopy proficiency, with ATLS/ACLS certification and ongoing coverage through 2027.

Expect 24/7 support from a Weatherby consultant, with prepaid travel and housing and paid malpractice insurance provided by Weatherby. Assignment details and portal time-entry are part of the process.

Qualifications

• 100 colonoscopies performed in past 12 months, including 20 polypectomies.
• 25 EGDs performed in the past 12 months.
• 2 rigid sigmoidoscopies performed in the past 12 months.
• Upper and lower scope proficiency is required (100%).
• ATLS and ACLS certification required.
• Mostly call coverage with rare clinic/OR shifts.

Responsibilities

• Mostly call coverage; rare clinic/OR shifts may occur.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.
• 24/7 access to Weatherby Healthcare consultant.
