Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a qualified physician for a locum-tenens assignment in Sierra Vista, AZ. The role involves trauma surgery for adult patients, with responsibilities including rapid call response and performance of laparoscopic procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernia repair.

GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and laser certification are required. Clinicians will cover an average of 5 patients per shift, with about 5 patients seen and 2 admissions per 24

Qualifications

• ATLS and ACLS certification required.
• Trauma surgery experience required – adult population.

Responsibilities

• Call only with 30-minute response time.
• Avg. 5 patients per shift; 5 patients seen and 2 admissions per 24 hrs.
• Perform laparoscopic procedures: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair.
• Provide GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy; laser certification required.
