Job summary

North Texas Medical Center (NTMC) seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon for a permanent role in Gainesville, Texas. Join a high-volume, community-focused practice and contribute to a 50/50 mix of scopes and traditional cases in a modern 125,000-square-foot facility serving multiple counties.

The position offers a strong compensation package with a salary range of $350,000–$405,000, sign-on and commencement bonuses, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Comfortable with a 50/50 mix of scopes and surgical cases.
• Eligible for Texas Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume traditional and laparoscopic general surgery.
• Join a hospital-employed practice with a mix of scopes and surgical cases.
• Be part of a well-organized, busy surgical department with modern facilities.
