Job summary

University of Florida is seeking a General Surgeon at the Jacksonville Campus for a non-tenure accruing Clinician/Professor track. The role includes building an elective general surgery practice, educating medical students and residents, and contributing to a growing GI/MIS, endoscopic, robotic, and oncologic program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board eligible or board certified in General Surgery.
• Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Broad clinical experience in general surgery with advanced training in minimally invasive surgery (robotic and laparoscopic).
• Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery/Advanced GI Surgery preferred.
