Position Details:

• A Duke Lifepoint hospital; blending Duke Health's clinical leadership and safety expertise to help strengthen Lifepoint Health's community hospitals
• Full-time, hospital-employed position in an established, community-based traditional practice offering bread-and-butter general surgery
• Join a board-certified general surgeon with 20 years of experience, with mentorship available
• Experience preferred; new graduates welcome
• Clinic schedule: includes two days per week, with three guaranteed OR days
• Call: requirement is up to 10 days per month
• Patient Volumes: average 20 patients per day in the clinic and three in the hospital
• Electronic medical records: Athena in the clinic and Cerner in the hospital
