Mercy Medical Group (MMG) in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a General Surgeon to join a large multi-specialty group within Dignity Health’s network. The role includes extensive surgical responsibilities, with guaranteed block time and strong patient demand.

The successful candidate will be fellowship-trained, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence, contributing to the growth of MMG's Surgery Department while benefiting from a robust referral base and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BE/BC General Surgery (ABMS or AOA)
• California Fluoroscopy License
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health California hospitals
• A passion for providing excellent clinical care in a collaborative team-based setting
• Willing to abide by and promote the values of CommonSpirit Health
• We are unable to support J1/H1B Visa requirement

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As a General Surgeon, you will join Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large, prestigious multi-specialty group with over 550 providers in the Sacramento region, playing a pivotal role in advancing our surgical services across Dignity Health’s network of four hospitals and numerous clinics. We are hiring in Sacramento and Folsom, CA.

You will provide comprehensive surgical care, ranging from bread-and-butter cases to complex procedures, with full support for minimally invasive techniques. You will have the unique opportunity to quickly build your practice through a robust referral base and significant patient demand, backed by guaranteed surgical block time, while contributing to the high standards of our esteemed Surgery Department. To be successful in this role, you will be a collaborative, fellowship-trained surgeon committed to clinical excellence, practice autonomy, and the spirit of humankindness. $462,000 - $489,000 /year
