Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in the Salt Lake City Basin is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon for a brand-new office with coverage at Tipanogos Regional and Lone Peak Hospital. The role features a high-acuity practice at a Level III trauma center, with a shared call schedule of 7.5 days per month and no in-house call within 30 minutes’ drive.

Pediatric coverage is light but possible. Join a collegial private-practice environment with a growing team of surgeons, including bariatric, head & neck,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with laparoscopy and endoscopy procedures.
• Board certified in General Surgery.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Additional ICU experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult general surgery and trauma coverage at a Level III trauma center.
• Collaborate with a collegial team of surgeons in a private-practice setting.
• Share a balanced call schedule, with added compensation for call.
• Contribute to growth and development of a brand-new office space and services.
