The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Diagnosing illnesses and injuries
  • Prescribing medications for preventive measures and aftercare
  • Developing post-operation treatment plans to promote overall health of the patient
  • Maintaining detailed patient records on paper or digitally
  • Working under the supervision of hospital administration to comply with facility guidelines
  • Adhering to safety and cleanliness standards in the operating room
  • Using surgical tools to remove or fix parts of the body
  • Coordinating with other medical professionals like Anesthesiologists and Nurses to ensure successful and safe operations
  • Scheduling follow‑up visits with patients to ensure continuing health
Skills and Knowledge
  • Proven work experience as a General Surgeon or similar role
  • Has manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination and visuospatial awareness
  • Organizational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent decision‑making skills and communication
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Emotionally resilient with the ability to make patients feel at ease
  • Great management and leadership skills
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a General Surgeon
Qualifications & Education
