Qualifications

• Board certified in General Surgery.
• Active KY license or Universal license (IMLC).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency general surgery procedures including bowel resection, trauma surgery, and perforation repairs.
• Manage incision and drainage of abscesses and wound care.
• Provide on-call coverage for emergency surgical consultations and interventions.
• Utilize advanced surgical skills as needed (laparoscopic, vascular, plastic surgery).
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system (MediTech).
