Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Fort Worth, TX seeks a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call Monday–Friday role offers clinical autonomy and opportunities to apply advanced wound techniques in a community setting.

You will perform bedside procedures, manage complex wounds, and collaborate across post-acute care teams, with a path to long-term surgical practice outside traditional hospital systems.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution is required.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background – all candidates considered; wound care training provided.

• Average Annual Earnings: $200,000–$250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)

General Surgeon Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part‑time or full‑time options:

• Part‑Time: 2–3 days per week

General Surgeon Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
