Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI)

The Opportunity

Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Trauma Surgeon to serve as Trauma Medical Director at an ACS-verified Level III Trauma Center with 200+ beds in Northern California.

This is a dual clinical and leadership opportunity combining active practice in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery with physician leadership, quality oversight, and trauma program development.

  • Respond to trauma activations and acute surgical consultations
  • Perform trauma and emergency general surgery procedures as clinically indicated
  • Manage Acute Care Surgery consultations and operative cases
  • Participate in inpatient rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Critical Care, Nursing, Rehabilitation, and other hospital-based teams

  • Current or recent Trauma and Acute Care Surgery experience
