Hiring Agency: Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service.

Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) provides an interface between the aircraft maintenance activity and the logistics support activities which provide equipment, supplies, parts and components. Duties: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Maintenance Supply Liaison function within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensuring equipment support complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

Represents unit in working with supply support organizations to determine requirements and the capability of supply to support those requirements. Serves as the Maintenance Supply Liaison for assistance on issues concerning Depot Level Reparables (DLRs). Accountability of supply and equipment assets. Utilizes the GO-81 database to provide on-line access to organization, equipment, mission, and status date. Updates appropriate database as events occur.
