Job summary

IES Communications seeks a General Superintendent to oversee large telecom projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and compliance. You will act as the primary liaison with customers, lead project personnel, and drive profitable, on-time closures across complex assignments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Lead Communications Technician or similar role.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in telecommunications or related technical or construction field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
  • Meet company minimum driving standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to define projects, scope work, estimate, develop detailed tasks, and manage to completion.
  • Proficiency with trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt‑ohmmeter, 4‑pair continuity tester and 5‑gang punch tool.

Compensation

Minimum: USD $40.00/Hr.
Maximum: USD $46.00/Hr.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
