General Superintendent
Oversees large or complex projects ensuring safety, efficiency, schedule, budget, and compliance. Acts as primary liaison with customers, manages staffing, drives profitability, maintains quality and safety standards, and delivers successful project closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project personnel, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Serve as primary contact for customers and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee project schedules, staffing, workload distribution, and resource allocation for timely completion.
- Manage project budgets, profitability, job costs, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and customer expectations.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control reviews, job walks, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Monitor and improve operational processes including estimating, purchasing, scheduling, warehousing, invoicing, and reporting.
- Lead safety initiatives, training programs, operational meetings, and process improvement efforts.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, timesheets, material tracking, job closeout packages, and as-built drawings.
- Oversee company tools, equipment, vehicle inventory and maintenance.

Compensation
Minimum: USD $40.00/Hr.
Maximum: USD $46.00/Hr.
Qualifications
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Regular attendance mandatory.

- Proven problem‑solving and critical thinking skills with ability to read, write, and present orally.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to develop branch and job processes and best practices.
- High skill level interpreting blueprints and project documents.
- Travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
- Ability to learn and teach company and customer project management systems.
- Ability to work at heights, off ladders and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 lb and move up to 75 lb.
- Ability to see and distinguish colors, read small print, and hear audible signals such as dial tones.
Education, Certification, License and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory or managerial experience.
- Minimum of 3 years as a Lead Communications Technician or similar role.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in telecommunications or related technical or construction field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
- Meet company minimum driving standards.
- Demonstrated ability to define projects, scope work, estimate, develop detailed tasks, and manage to completion.
- Proficiency with trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt‑ohmmeter, 4‑pair continuity tester and 5‑gang punch tool.
